This is actucall very beautiful 3d work, this person has real talent with textures, which I hate so much - er not hate these but hate making textures at work myself lol. So yea I envy this creator, i wish I would already gain more texture talent haha.
The design looks spot on 1950s (mid-century modern) to me. Of course, mid-20th century designs are currently being "revisited" by west elm/ikea/crate and barrel and other retailers who specialize in making "knock offs" of classic 20th century modern designs so it looks very contemporary too.
This may be typed as 50s, but I have seen them in the late 60s and early 70s. The wood textures make them look modern, so just imagine other types of prints on the seat and metal for the tray/legs.
Agreeing with the Anon above, stores are revisiting the mid-century style and look for today. Easy to look as if it's new.
