I don't know why you think it's weird...I like it! It would have been handy when I had my triplets because I had to have a full room with three desk for them. So next 'group' of babies and this desk is for the little ones! Thank you!!
Computers can be placed on dining tables, so 3 person "desks" can be made in-game already. Is this object declared as only a desk? It would make a nice glass dining table too.

I'm...not really sure what's so weird about it. I like it, and it's a good idea for rooms that are a little short on space.
