Problem with the pictures

I cannot upload any pictures right now and a lot of pictures have disappeared from earlier posts. I guess it's a problem Blogspot is working on.

I thought (now that I have purchased a lot more space) those days were over, but anyway, that's what's going on right now.

There's always using other image hosts, but that slows the blog down. And while on the subject of pictures, there's some other sites out there that copy and paste my posts in their updates, which is fine, except for the pictures, upload them to your own site!

  2. Me too! I never had problems with pictures loading before, I thought it was something on my end. Thanks for the heads up.

To the knuckleheads out there, hotlinking is bad and if you own a site and hotlinking, shame on you. You know that you can ruin a site's bandwidth and if anyone F up this site, I am hunting you down. I know people...

  3. I hate hotlinkers, especially since I pay a lot of money for my own server! When I had the problem of hotlinkers, I taught them a lesson by changing the file name of my original pic and reuploading to my site. Then I would change the picture with the file name they were using to a porn pic and reupload to my server, so that it would show up on their site instead of my original pic.

I'd love to have seen their faces when that happened.

  10. ^ I've seen that exact trick happen on forums, it's a great idea and if I had a website, I would do the same thing. Friggen hotlinkers.

When I did this, my friends and I often reported their site to the hosting administrators for "inappropriate and lewd content." You should've seen MY face when it resulted in their site getting shut down. :)

  15. The problem with placing a simple code to stop right clicking doesn't detour them all. You can still view the source of the page, find the image line and steal it that way. This will continue to happen until browsers change.

I suggest to site owners to use what sims3blog.co.cc said. Use that to block hotlinking and NOT the right click code.

  19. Hi Joe, I wanted to ask you to move the categories drop-down list to the left-side, near the serach box, because it's more acessible there I think. There are time I have to scroll over and over to just acess the list. I am sure I am not alone with this. Thank you!

  25. I love the solution for punishing hotlinkers. That is awesome, and creative. But please don't disable right clicks! I like to scroll through pages and right-click, open in new tab anything that I find interesting. Then I can check them all out, rather than going to one, then going back, then searching for another, checking it out, going back to the main page....you get the picture.
