Am I the only one who can't get skin to look nearly this good in my game? It says at the bottom for Christian 'maleskin-DHV-O-NR' - I have that, and it looks like this awful yellow color in my game. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but it's totally useable for me, not like the screenshots... anyone have any suggestions? Ive have my Sim visual graphics maxed out.

NO YOU ARE NOT, and it is incredibly frustrating. Grrrr.
They don't look as good in my game either. IF this is purely because the preview pics are photoshopped, that's a shame. Doesn't editing preview pics in this way defeat the purpose of making 'preview pics' in the first place?
At least this still isn't nearly as bad as TSR. Numerous people from that rubbish site will photoshop their previews to the degree of lunacy. My favorite is when they preview their sims wearing real-life photo-realistic hats that cover up their face, for no sane reason (other than to make pathetic attempts at shining their shit-creations). lol
Thanks for the responses all, nice to know I'm not completely alone. ;) I thought maybe I just didn't know how to use them in the CAS properly or something, although it's true I never tried going ahead and checking them out in-game, so maybe I'll give that a try.
That's the reason why photoshopped pictures are mostly a bad choice, especially when stuff looks worse ingame and you try to disguise it. Not very good for the reputation imho, but well Lemon Leaf usually deliveres great stuff, so i look away :)
..using a dark skinned color then lightening it is the best default way of hiding the annoying yellow/red you get with the other two settings - I think there is a color wheel at MTS if you can't be bothered editing the skin tone - why that is supposed to be sufficient of a problem requiring a game mod I can't quite figure out...
whoaaa, really pretty and shiny.
ReplyDeletethere is something i like about lemonleaf's stuff, whether i download it or not.
ReplyDeleteI love this and all Lemon's stuff, thank you! ♥
ReplyDeletewish they would make these as defaults
ReplyDeleteAnybody know the name of the hair used in the first pic (girl with long bangs)?
ReplyDeleteThe hair on the female sim is by Newsea. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like Newsea's Lydia hair, more specifically.
ReplyDeleteThe eyes are gorgeous! Far prettier than oh my tiffany or tiffany glaze.

ReplyDeleteMine too anon! But I think Lemon photoshops her pictures and maybe she even altered the skin herself.
ReplyDeleteYeah I think lemonleaf photoshops out the inperfections in the screenshots. That's not bad at all because they look great!
ReplyDeletedo those eyes have caruncles?
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenipunch for the ID!
ReplyDeleteThe skin looks wonderful in my game... they may be a bit photoshopped, but I think it also depends on additional makeup used in the pics.

ReplyDeletewell, me too... O.o" cos I've download whole set of Subaxi Maleskin DHV and it looks great! ^_^ in CAS and IN GAME... so really WTH ? O.o"
mabye you try lighter it a bit in CAS :p to max pale ;3
skins looks a bit yellow in CAS but they look a lot better in-game, also it helps to play around with the color sliders.
