"Very pretty! But I feel like anyone could make them." Yes, I know. lol They're my models and I just wanted to share them. And I have left a couple of sims so, yay for pretty generic pudding sims! ^-^
PD: those last two comments were mine, it seems that I simply can't write XD
I really like them, they are a bit genereic, byt yes, everyone loves pretty generic sims. But the pictures kills the preview for me, way sparkly, thanks for sharing!!
Anubis I can relate, they're models, they have to be pretty generic, if you try use a sim that looks totally different from "the norm" then they get mocked and people spend more time talking about the model then the actual content, models should just slide into the background.
Your models are gorgeous generic or not, I could have sworn that you've shared Cindy before though...
I am so sick of people throwing out the "they look like Sims anyone could make" excuse for any Sim that is pretty and doesn't have overexaggerated features. You're full of it and you know it.
I have not seen anyone successfully recreate an Anubis model, period. In fact, I don't download his models and I tried to recreate one and no, it's not as easy as you might think. I started with the blonde one ages ago (Cindy, I think her name was) and chose a pre-made I think she was made after and still was unable to recreate her.
They are not generic or pudding in any sense. A generic, pudding Sim is one that you can create when you hit the randomize button or choose one of the premade Sims from the EA bin.
Take any picture of an EA Sim and compare it to these and you KNOW there is no comparison. In fact, I dare you. Have you taken a look at some of the pre-mades lately? This is why people were BEGGING for Anubis's sims even before he became as popular as he is now.
Let's face it. If Sims don't have hard square jaws, exaggerated noses and lips, freckles, or weird face shapes by your favorite Sim creator then they are labeled as generic and that's what this blog has come down to - anything that deviates from this model is attacked.
In fact, I could take a Sim I spent hours on and I'm sure there would be cries of generic and pudding because she had delicate features and didn't have a huge nose...even though I modeled her after a REAL LIFE model I saw off a website. Idiots.
thanks, i love it!!

I dont think I would call them pudding tbh, I dont see the pudding effect. They are pretty :)
ReplyDeleteThey are rather lovely. They seem like the sims EA creates to promote it's upcoming material.
