^ is it possible to be anymore unconstructive? My building skills aren't the best I know but more then a simple "nope" would be appreciated so that I can try to improve
It's a good start. The outside is cute and has a nice feel to it.
Why don't you try adding in more decorations like paintings, curtains, rugs, etc? Look around interior decorating sites for ideas too. It just seems kinda empty right now. :)
Oh yeah, you might already know this... but also remember that house prices can depreciate. If you go a little bit over (I think 1k, maybe more...) just have a sim play test it and after playing a little, it could go down.
cute house!

ReplyDeletemore windows, darling :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a boring-ass house. There's nothing really interesting about it, nothing much to say. Anyone could have built this.

It's a starter, I had to cut some corners because I was just about over-budget. Thanks for the feedback though :)
ReplyDelete1. The half brick/blue paneling on the outside looks off. I would say solid brick for this.
ReplyDelete2. The front door is too overpowering. Also add windows to the front part where the door is.
3. Moar windows, and make some regular size instead of the long small ones.
4. The blue inside is nice, but too much. Break it up or just use that blue as an accent wall.
5. Moar homey touches.
6. The green walls in the bedroom? Ick.
7. Don't match the tile in the kitchen and the bathroom.
8. Bathroom wall color should be neutral.
9. Make room for a shower pretty please. Or just delete the bath for a shower. Showers are quicker for sims.
10. Too boxy. Make a nook ( \_/ like that) with the walls, recess couches in there or the tv.
11. Center lamps (and the plant) on tables. It's more pleasing.
12. More landscaping and terrain paint.
13. Maybe add a back door and back patio and move garbage can back there?
YW. :)
