Because these are not the sims to download but these photos are only showing the bone "make-up" you can add to your sim. The sims itself are on other post.
I think there's been so much crap there lately, because the "rigorous" upload standards intimidate the majority of creators. In addition to being stringent against the use of pay CC, I think the amount of submissions they've received lately has been rather small. Rather than make it seem like they've stopped updating, they've compromised their standards.
Case in point, this. It would be fine if it was simply packaged with the Corpse Bride sim download. However, as a stand alone item, it looks really low-res and sloppy.
MTS doesn't have anything. TSR has hairs, clothing, objects and so many more DAILY. And most are free.
MTS has sims and mods. I admit it, I love the mods there but the sims...? I mean, I could upload sims but I don't. Because there isn't really a point. Yeah. Sometimes Sims are nice but too much shows how much you CAN'T do.
Corpsebride *luv* Gotto download her right away
ReplyDeleteHow did they get accepted when there's hardly pictures showing them from every angle like the rules of uploding in the site says :o
ReplyDeleteEverything gets uploaded on MTS.
ReplyDeleteUm... everything most certainly does not get uploaded to MTS. That would make them TSR.
ReplyDeleteThese look awesome.
TSR has way better stuff then MTS.
ReplyDelete^ LMAO. Really?
ReplyDelete"How did they get accepted when there's hardly pictures showing them from every angle like the rules of uploding in the site says :o"
ReplyDeleteBecause Arisuka is a mod there?

ReplyDeleteThey're still terrible pictures.
ReplyDeleteAnd if "everything doesn't get uploaded to MTS", allow me to specify what I'm sure the above anon meant: a lot of crap gets uploaded to MTS.
MTS is way overrated, they may have had a lot of great Sims 2 stuff back in the day,but their Sims 3 stuff mostly stinks.
ReplyDeleteQuality? High standards? Where?
There are too many other sites with better creators making things for The Sims 3 now.
It's still a useful website, though.
ReplyDeleteI use the site mainly for hack downloads and game help,I never download CC from them.

I vastly prefer MTS to TSR, but not because of content. TSR's business practices are rather sketchy.
ReplyDeleteI love MTS.
ReplyDeleteThe makeups are very cool and the last sim is my cup of tea =v=
TSR has a bigger variety of content than Mod The Sims,if I want to fill my game with ugly, half assed Sims I'd make them myself.
ReplyDeleteI don't let all of these anti TSR scare tactics get to me,I'll always prefer the site for my CC.
Ya mean all 12 pages of makeup? Yawn.
ReplyDeleteTen of which are unusable because they're awful. Polkadot lipstick, anyone?
ReplyDeleteI have admittedly used some clothes from there, but so much of it is terribly photoskinned...
"Quality? High standards? Where?"
ReplyDeleteI used to submit to MTS, I got knocked back a lot because I wasn't a donator. Those that donate get posted immediately. You can be assured of that.
Yeah,I also heard that Mod The Sims is a "pay for uploads"site instead of being a "pay for downloads"site.
ReplyDeleteHow is that different than a "paysite?" HOW?
