I'm curious if anyone has created maternity dresses that don't look as if they are stuck to the baby bump, rather the shirt/dress looks as it flows down from the bump? I think that would be really useful.
So, judging by the gargantuan size of the model, she'll probably give birth to a 4'11" baby, right?
The dress is nice, but I've become very distrustful of Rusty's clothing. I downloaded a lot of it, and the patterns always make it look like my sim is wearing the outfit of someone much larger. I don't think I downloaded anything that looked from her that good on a sim without a maxed and hacked height slider.
Disappointed. I like the pattern of the first dress, but what I dislike is how Rusty has ´cut off´ the top part of what is recognisable as EA´s dress. And I´m tired of all strapless dresses.
People always bitch about the proportions of Rusty's models, but the head size conforms almost perfectly to the ratio of the human form that has been in use by artists since the ancient Greeks. Just because we're used to lollipop-headed Sims doesn't mean they are actually more realistic.
Why are people complaining about the models? Like someone already mentioned, the proportions are actually a little more realistic and match those on the catwalk.
Also you aren't downloading the Sim, only the dress. So quit whining about the Sim.
^You must be new here.... People whine about models on almost every post, including the supposedly tiny heads on Rusty's models. Which is annoying, but whatever; people have the right to complain about presentation if they want to. In this case it DOES seem extra stupid, though, since these models are actually more realistically proportioned than most.
Anywho...I'm all for more maternity clothes. As a pregnant woman myself, I wouldn't want to wear a strapless dress (if you think the belly swells to an impressive degree, you oughta check out the girls) but it's really cute and I guess Sims don't deal with the realities of gravity.
I love this. I don't download non-recolorable stuff because my download file is too full to add anything that isn't more versatile, and this doesn't *look* recolorable. I would get this in an instant otherwise.
i was really hoping to see maternity from rusty but i know she can do better than the empire dress. :-)
ReplyDeletemuch needed! thanks so much
ReplyDeleteHow can I get my pregnant sim to wear the dress I want? When my sim gets pregnant, she gets a random outfit and I can't change it anymore.
ReplyDelete^Change right after she gets pregnant and before the first baby bump.
ReplyDeleteReally nice dresses! Finally pregnant sims can be free from the default "sweatpants and jacket" maternity wear

ReplyDeleteCute dress, but the model might bodyslam me if I didn't say that :)
